I thought we had successfully voted the Southsea Town Council out of existance some time ago. If it is still operating then it must surely be a totally un-democratic organisation, with no mandate for anything. Submitted By: Mike Sizer

The residents of the UK have been burdend far too long with High Taxes for this, that and the other. This area does not need two councils - PCC (Portsmouth City Council) are doing an adequate job. No! I object to it (Southsea Town Council) existing as a proposal. Submitted By: Mr R Hackett

I am voting NO - a more useless body it would be hard to find. I strongly object to paying another tax on top of Council Tax, which is already high enough. Submitted By: Mrs Davidson
